Twine Quilt - Wall Hanging
If you are someone who enjoys a striking interwoven block that feels like it could just go on and on this quilt is for you!
I chose the name Twine because its definition is "a strong string of two or more strands twisted together" and I thought it was just perfect for this two tone quilt.
This pattern was inspired by tile I saw in a home. I loved how the tile was sort of an illusion. You couldn't really tell where the pattern or design started. Plus it made additional designs beyond the square I designed for the block.
Who knew two lines of fabric could create so much fun! Its an advanced beginner patter because it does involve squaring up three times and two of those are on the 45 but I offer very clear graphics for you in the pattern.
I will say I'm not a fan of triangles but this pattern has definitely made me enjoy them more and more.
The more and more I played with the block and altered it from my first design I realized the potential of this block as far as color design was endless. Plus who doesn't love a solid two tone quilt. Add some custom quilting to that and it was just amazing.
The pattern is now available just click HERE and you can make one for yourself! I hope you are inspired and check out the #twinequilt to see all the beautiful color combos my testers and others have created. Until next time happy quilting!
